Well the first part of camp is nearly complete. The students are in the midst of their practical skills exam, dissecting cockroaches, examining the leaf adaptations of the waterlily and comparing the anatomy of three different bivalves among other tasks.
The week has gone by so quickly at Waikato University, jammed packed with learning. We can’t thank Waikato enough for their support over the last 13 years.
After the exam we move up to Auckland with seminars from the university on biostatistics and developmental biology then we are out to Tiritiri on Sunday with Massey University researchers from the Institute of Natural and Mathematical Sciences.
